It is with great pleasure that SBDP recognizes the skill, effort, and character of our exceptional team members who have been promoted this month. Through their commitment to our core values (#RISE), each of the following individuals has earned this distinguished recognition and promotion to their new role.

Hollie Murphy has been promoted to Senior Executive Operations Manager. Hollie celebrated her 8th anniversary with SBDP this pasts January and joined the SBDP team after many years working in accounting in the private sector. She will continue to oversee the financial operations of the firm in the areas of invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Donna Logsdon has been promoted to Senior Executive Assistant in addition to continuing her duties as Client Service Manager. Donna joined the SBDP team in 2019 and previously worked in the admin department of a CPA firm in Louisville, Kentucky. Donna will serve as the lead administrative person in the front office and be responsible for the day-to-day operations.

Cathy “Trink” Nelson has been promoted to Executive Administrative Assistant. She brings a wealth of office experience to the admin team and just recently celebrated her 1-year anniversary as a full-time staff person. Trink will work closely with Cindy on various projects, including helping to maintain our new client relationship manager database (KEAP) in addition to providing support to our client service managers and assembly department.

Amanda Lawson has been promoted to Senior Manger in the Small Business Accounting Department. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Phoenix and has more than 16 years’ experience in accounting, with the last 7 being at SBDP. Amanda works closely with many of our small business clients and is working on her QB and QBO certifications. Amanda also assists Christina with many of the WIP management duties for the small business accounting department.

Rebecca Gonzalez has been promoted to Manager in the Small Business Accounting Department. Rebecca holds an Associate Degree in Accounting and has been working in the accounting field for the past 18 years, with the past 3 years being at SBDP. Rebecca works closely with some of our larger clients and has been instrumental in training new staff and clients on ways to be more efficient.

James Grysko, CPA (Jimmy) has been promoted to Director of Taxation as announced earlier this year. Jimmy joined SBDP in 2020 and is a 2010 graduate of FSU with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He leads the tax division of Ascend Dental Group and SBDP working with dental practices and various other clients throughout the firm.

SBDP Also Welcomed New Team Members in July and August

Carrie Clark joined SBDP in the position of Tax Manager in July. She is an Enrolled Agent with IRS and a CPA candidate, holding a Bachelor Degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters Degree in Taxation. Carrie is working closely with Ascend Dental in the areas of tax compliance and tax planning.

Alyson Trescott joined the admin team of SBDP in August in the role of Client Relations Manager. Her background in client service in the insurance, automotive and legal industries will allow her to transition to the accounting industry nicely.
